Eduplanet21 is pleased to announce the upcoming release of the Understanding by Design® Institute, brought to you by Understanding by Design (UbD) co-author Jay McTighe, and Eduplanet21.

The Understanding by Design Institute is an online organization focused on supporting the Understanding by Design framework in your school, classroom, and teaching. This Institute will provide three series of Learning Paths (Introductory Unit Level, Advanced Unit Level, and Macro Curriculum), an eLibrary of digital resources to fully support your use of Understanding by Design, and an Understanding by Design Community that promotes interactive discussion and interaction among educators.

“It is our mission to transform education and the Understanding by Design Institute provides the opportunity to educate our teachers, administrators, and faculty on the UbD framework and how to best utilize UbD to better support student’s learning,” explains Eduplanet21 CEO, Jeff Colosimo.

The September 1 release of the Understanding by Design Institute will include the first three Learning Paths of the Introductory Unit Level series, the UbD eLibrary, and the UbD Community. The remaining Introductory Unit Level Learning Paths will be released this December with the Advanced Unit Level and Macro Curriculum Series Learning Paths coming in 2017. The Understanding by Design Institute is free to join at with special Learning Path pricing available for schools/districts.
